Next door at Lavendula the Walker family and their manservant Pumble dragged themselves up the front walk. They stopped for a moment to watch the messenger and Sesserin exchange, and then walked in the front door. The walker family walked into the front door of Lavendula bedraggled, soaking wet and covered in filth.
